Peter Brabeck-Letmathe

Chairman Emeritus, Nestlé Group Austria

Peter Brabeck-Letmathe is an Austrian businessman who is currently the Chairman Emeritus of Nestle after having served as its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer from 1997 to 2008. Peter also served as Chairman of Galderma Holding SA, Chairman of Uprona Ltd., Co-Chairman-Supervisory Board of Cereal Partners Worldwide, Vice Chairman of Credit Suisse Group AG, Chairman-External Economic Relations Working Group of the European Round Table of Industrialists, Chairman for Travelsmart Technologies Ltd., Chairman for Formula One Holdings Ltd., and Chairman & Chief Executive Officer for Nestle (South Africa) Pty Ltd.

Besides his broad experience in leading multinational enterprises, Peter is also the Founder and Chairman of 2030 Water Resources Group, a public-private partnership under the World Bank. He is also an active member of the Foundation Board of the World Economic Forum. For his outstanding contribution to disruptive innovation, he was awarded the Schumpeter Prize, the Austrian Cross of Honour for services to the Republic of Austria, and “La Orden Mexicana del Aguila Azteca”.

Peter is passionate about expanding networks through multiculturalism and championing diversity in the workplace. Likewise, his advocacy for “shared value” paved the way for holistic business strategies to focus on sustainable practices in value creation to help enterprises achieve innovative and inclusive business goals.

Paul Polman

Former CEO, Unilever (2009-2018) Netherlands

Paul Polman is a Dutch businessman with extensive education in economics and business and wide and varied experience from heading prominent global companies such as Procter & Gamble, Nestle, and Unilever where he served as Chief Executive Officer from 2009 to 2019. He is also the Vice Chair of the UN Global Compact, Chair of the Saïd Business School, Co-founder of IMAGINE, and Chair of the International Chamber of Commerce.

He authored the bestselling book “Net Positive: How Courageous Companies Thrive by Giving More Than They Take” which describes a new perspective on corporate social responsibility.” In this book, Paul advocates for the need for companies to be driven by values to serve their stakeholders and for business owners to take a more proactive role in creating business models that are more sustainable, equitable, inclusive, and multi-generational.

Paul firmly advocates for sustainable development and encourages enterprises to operate responsibly with a sense of community and collective humanity in pursuit of true transformational change to improve the way businesses can positively make an impact on people and the planet.
